The Epping Eastwood Tigers is the home of football in Sydney’s North West. Established in 1952 by the Gilmour family, who later established the GHFA, the club has served the people of Epping Eastwood and surrounds for 65 years.
The Tigers’ pride themselves on nurturing players from minis through to their senior years. We support all our players, fielding teams looking to progress their football to an elite level and others just wanting a social kick each week.
We have around 550 members aged from 4 to 84 - who all contribute to making the club the social and sporting success it is. It is a club where the senior and advanced players actively support the development of younger players and where parents and families can get involved at every step.
Our home ground is the beautiful and central Boronia Park in Epping, which is tree lined and was refurbished in 2016 complete with upgraded turf, new seating areas and adjoining playgrounds.
Each year we field almost 40 teams in the North West Sydney Football Association, with a number of teams in each age group.
Tigers supports its players at every level of the game - from the social to the aspiring elite footballer.
This strategy pays dividends in keeping many kids playing the game longer and developing their skills, which is possibly why we have so many players who remain with us from Minis right through to senior football.
In 2017 our Premier League team competed in the FFA Cup for the first time. A number of these elite players started in minis with the Club over a decade ago.
If you are considering where you or your children might like to play football, then look no further. The Tigers have been growing football and friendships in the Epping and Eastwood district since 1952 and we would love to have you, your family and your friends join our Club!
